Things to see and do

Located in the Moselotte valley at an altitude of 760 m , the gîte stands on the spot in the valley of
Saulxures-sur-Moselotte, 25 km from Remiremont, 11 km from La Bresse, and 20 km from Gérardmer.

The leisure center, located 5 km from the cottage, is the key attraction of the village, offering many
activities around Lake Moselotte .
It will delight young and old all year round, especially in the summer with its play areas.

In winter and if there is snow, alpine and cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find a ski area
ideal sport in La Bresse or Gerardmer, almost 25 minutes from the gîte.

A little further on, beyond the Oderen or Bussang pass, the Alsace plain appears, offering its most
beautiful villages and its unmissable Christmas markets: Colmar, Riquewihr, Eguisheim and Kaysersberg
less than 1h30.

Continuing a little further, you can discover Basel and Freiburg im Breisgau .

Finally, in all seasons, the Vosges mountains will welcome you for family hikes or
sporty on foot or by bike , discovering its many peaks, the Grand Ballon (1424 m), the
Honeck (1363 m), the Ballon d'Alsace (1247 m), the Petit Ballon (1272 m) , ...

Perhaps, at the bend in the road, you will be lucky enough to come across some wild animals from our forests: the roe deer, the
chamois, red fox or European hare.
